COVID-19 Updates

May 19th:

USA Volleyball has lifted the elimination of sanctions for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, team activities, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) on May 16th, 2020.

We are resuming private lessons and practices with strict safety protocols.

May 8th:

USA Volleyball is extending the elimination of sanctions for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, team activities, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) through May 22, 2020.

Following several communications with the USOPC, the U.S. Center for SafeSport, and our insurance providers, USA Volleyball has received permission to sanction virtual training/coaching/instruction/meetings during this period of sanction suspension.

April 22nd:

USA Volleyball is extending the elimination of sanctions for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, team activities, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) through May 8, 2020.

April 3rd: FROM USAV: USA Volleyball is eliminating the sanctioning for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) effective 11:59pm, Friday, March 13th.  This ban on all USA Volleyball sanctioned activities extends through April 30th. 

March 26th: FROM USAV: USA Volleyball is eliminating the sanctioning for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) effective 11:59pm, Friday, March 13th.  This ban on all USA Volleyball sanctioned activities extends through April 15th. 

Due to this and the continued protection of our Metro family and community Memphis Metro will remain closed through April 15th. As this situation continues to change, we will continue to monitor it and provide updates. Please stay safe and healthy
