What to bring: Come with t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, knee pads and a water bottle.
2024 Pre-Tryout Clinics
Our Pre-tryout clinics are designed to improve the player's individual skills with the focus on tryouts. Each player will practice passing, setting, hitting, and serving drills that will be used during tryouts, so she feels ready, prepared, and confident going into the tryout. Players will be divided into groups based on their skills. 5 courts will be available for each clinic.
Playing competition will conclude each session to give players an opportunity to implement their newly trained skills.
Cost - $60.00/ 2 hour clinic
Package of ALL 10 clinics - $480 (that's 2 clinics FREE)

For players who were not registered with USAV during 2023-2024 season must download a Medical Waiver and bring it to the clinic. Players without a USAV card will not be able to attend clinic without a waiver!
METRO's Pre-Tryout clinics are extremely popular as they give your player a valuable advantage during tryouts. Clinic dates fill up quickly and we purposefully limit the number of players per clinic to give each player the very best opportunity to succeed. To confirm a spot for your player, REGISTER and PAY in advance for the clinics she wants to attend. Unregistered players will be placed on our waiting list upon arrival, if space is available after all registered players are checked in we will be happy to accommodate your player at that time

When registering for your Pre-Tryout Clinics, you will be prompted to fill out a MindBody account. You do not need the Mindbody app (just click the "X" in the upper right corner), just an account. You will use this account for all future Metro clinic/lesson registrations (hassle free). Please fill this account out using the parent/guardian email, AND PLAYER name, grade, date of birth, etc. Please fill out the information for the account on behalf of YOUR PLAYER so we can best know their grade, date of birth, and experience and we can place them in the appropriate Pre-Tryout clinic groups.
