This is the USAV, JVA, and AAU  event, R1 provided, all courts are in the Hot Springs Convention Center, $490/team.

The deadline to withdraw from the tourney (with a refund minus $25 processing fee) is January 2nd, 2024.  Any requests (for any reason) to withdraw after Jan 2nd, will not receive a refund.

2-Day Tournament will begin on Saturday, February 10-11, 2024.

2-Day Tournament will begin on Saturday. A wave play format will be used with the morning wave beginning at 8:00 AM and the afternoon wave beginning at 2:30 PM. All teams will play both days, AM and PM waves will be assigned after entry deadline. The tournament Bracket Play on Sunday will start at 8:00 AM. Pools for Saturday play as well as for Sunday brackets will be published on Thursday online on AES web site as well as link from this web site. Please do not call for the info since pool wave assignment can still be changed.

TOURNAMENT WRISTBANDS:

  • Prices: $15 one day pass/$25 weekend pass, 8 & Under FREE
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. You will be required to put in the name of the person attending the event and will be required to provide a photo ID upon entry. If you do not have a photo id, you must be accompanied by an adult. At that time your ticket with its unique QR code will be scanned and you will receive a wristband that will serve as your re-entry into the venue.
  • Wristbands are Non-Replaceable. Do not lose them!
  • Spectators and Coaches need to wear your wristband for re-admittance. Players do not need a wristband; ushers will allow entrance to players in uniform.
  • Tickets WILL NOT be sold physically onsite, online ONLY. Make sure this email is sent to all of your parents/spectators so they can per-purchase their tickets to the event.

TEAM CHECK-IN:
IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT TEAMS HAVE TO CHECK-IN ONLINE

Teams who fail to check in will forfeit the first game of the opening match.

NUMBER OF TEAM ENTRIES:
All entries will be accepted until deadline or until all division spots are filled. All additional teams will be put on waiting list. However, the event reserves the right to change the number or date as necessary to accommodate requests and provide the best competition format in each age division. Please enter as soon as possible in order to optimally plan the format as well as to avoid placement on the waiting list.

TRAINERS AND MEDICAL RELEASES:
There will be a certified trainer and EMS at the location within the playing venue provided by Memphis Metro.  They will provide services and supplies. Do not wait until the last minute to have your players report to the medical tent to be taped as play will not be delayed.
All coaches are required to have a Medical Release Form for each player with them at all times.  The representative of the team will be required to sign a statement at Team Check-In, which verifies that the forms are in their possession.

EXHIBITOR DISPLAYS:
Exhibitors will be open on Saturday for browsing and sales and will be open during the time of the event.

COOLERS:
No outside food and coolers of any kind or size will be permitted in the Convention Center. Neither Hot Springs Classic or the Convention Center will assume responsibility for coolers or providing a place for them. Please leave them at your hotel or in your car.

CHAIRS & LARGE BAGS (Luggage):
Seating inside the hall around the courts is provided. Chairs, large bags and luggage will not be permitted inside the playing hall. 

COACH CERTIFICATION:
For all divisions, one coach, with Impact or higher certification, must be on the bench with the team at all times. (See the Delta Region USAV Tournament Manual for particulars.)

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

2023 Hot Springs Classic volleyball tournament will not be cancelled due to weather. It is the decision of each coach and/or club whether their team should attempt to travel to a tournament in bad weather. Teams deciding not to attend tournament  will not receive a refund of their tournament entry fee. In addition, those teams must notify the Memphis Metro prior to the tournament that they will not participate.
