Registration Fee, Club Incentive & Deadlines for 10s-14s:

December 21-January 11, 2025:  $549
Any Registration and payment received after Jan 11, 2025:  $569

Roster Deadline: Roster must be completed & verified in AES by January 13, 2025.

Roster Deadline: Roster must be completed & verified in AES by January 20, 2025.  

Any roster changes done after Jan. 20, 2025, will have a late/change roster fee of $30.  Fee must be paid at the time of the roster change.  

Payments and registration must be received by the deadline date to obtain discounted fee.  Registration and Payment must be completed to obtain an accepted status in AES.  

Acceptance is first come first served for each division.  We will accept teams till each division is filled, once division are filled remaining teams that have not paid will be placed on a wait list.  When you have made the deadline for the discounted fee, please make sure your check reflects the correct amount, refunds will not be issued.  

Team Drops and Refund Policy for Tournament

Teams that drop out before December 20, 2024 will be refunded their entry fee minus a 20% service charge.  

Teams that drop after that will not receive a refund.

Teams that choose to enter another related/hosted tournament may have 100% of their entry fees transferred to the other tournament.   Must be done at least 2 weeks prior to start date of tournament.

Team check-in will be online

Online check-in will be available for the 2025 Memphis Challenge (Club Directors must sign in teams in the AES Director dashboard.) Deadline for online check-in is the Wednesday 12pm prior to the tournament start date. Roster updates can be made at the tournament desk prior to 8:00 AM or 2:30 PM before 1st match in the pool wave. Paper rosters will not be collected. Teams can only check-in with their verified roster through AES Online Check-in. If you have a special situation regarding team check in please text Liz Daniel at 901-340-0171 or email lizd7@bellsouth.net

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
2-Day Tournament will begin on Saturday, January 25, 2025 (10-14's) and Feb 1, 2025 (15-18's).

Ticket Purchase Date & Time:

• Tickets will be available for purchase online only and will go live Wednesday at 10am before the tourney.

Please note that tickets will NOT be sold on site. All tickets for the tourney must be purchased online. They can be purchased the day of the tourney, they just MUST be purchased online

Ticket Pricing:

• Weekend Passes (2 days): $28
• Daily Passes (1 day): $17
• Children 7 and under get in free

Entry Instructions:

• Spectators must show their QR Code and ID AT FIRST TIME they enter the facility and they will receive a wristband for re-entry for the day.

Can I Share My Ticket:

• No, tickets cannot be shared between individuals. Each ticket must be unique to an individual spectator. Tickets will have a first and last name assigned to the ticket.
• Names on tickets can be changed to another name so long as the ticket has not been scanned. Once a ticket is scanned, it is no longer viable for a name change.

Refund Policy:

• Once a tickets is purchased online, no refunds or replacements will be issued

Onsite Ticket Purchase:

• There will be NO onsite ticket purchase. All purchases must be done online at SportWrench.com (link will go live the Wednesday before the tourney)

• Team Check-In will be done online
• There will be no team check-in on Saturday.

NUMBER OF TEAM ENTRIES:

Last year Memphis tournament was a sold-out event with over 280 teams hosted on 32 courts and several teams on the waiting list. All entries will be accepted until deadline,however, the event reserves the right to change the number or date as necessary to accommodate requests and provide the best competition format in each age division. Please enter as soon as possible in order to optimally plan the format as well as to avoid placement on the waiting list.

TRAINERS AND MEDICAL RELEASES:
There will be trainers at the venue.

• Memphis Sports and Events Center provides & controls all food items available for purchase at the tournament (including availability, cost, variety, etc).
• NO outside Chairs or Coolers are allowed inside the Memphis Sports and Events Center

COOLERS:
No outside food and coolers of any kind or size will be permitted in the playing venues. Neither Memphis Challenge or the playing venues will assume responsibility for coolers or providing a place for them. Please leave them at your hotel or in your car.

CHAIRS & LARGE BAGS (Luggage):
Chairs, large bags and luggage will not be permitted inside the playing venues. 

COACH CERTIFICATION:
For all divisions, one coach, with Impact or higher certification, must be on the bench with the team at all times. (See the Delta Region USAV Tournament Manual for particulars.)

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
Memphis Challenge volleyball tournament will not be cancelled due to weather. It is the decision of each coach and/or club whether their team should attempt to travel to a tournament in bad weather. Teams deciding not to attend Memphis Challenge tournament  will not receive a refund of their tournament entry fee. In addition, those teams must notify the tournament director prior to the tournament that they will not participate.

Athletes/Parents:

Memphis Challenge is using University Athlete to provide electronic recruiting rosters to college coaches.  College coaches use the UA mobile app at the event to find and evaluate athletes with the custom schedule feature.  They upload their work to their online account and manage recruits from there.

UA obtains their rosters directly from (Registration system – AES, SportWrench, TM2Sign).  Sometimes there can be errors in the rosters, but your free UA Athlete profile will always overwrite incorrect data.  Log in to your free UA Athlete profile 1-2 weeks before this event and check two things:

1. That you are listed in the roster (on the Roster tab)
2. That the following critical information is correct:graduation year, scholarship status, email, and phone number
