Coach Lauren South is in her 1st year as a Memphis Metro Coach. Coach Lauren has been involved with volleyball for the last 8 years as a player. She had a very successful high school career at Bartlett High School where she was a 4 year letter winner. While at Bartlett she also was honored as a three-time member of All-District Tournament Team, two-time All-Regional Tournament Team. As a senior she was named All-District in 14-AAA and was named Commercial Appeal Best of Preps twice.

After High School, Coach Lauren went on to play for Christian Brothers University where she has continued her career of success. In 2009 Coach Lauren played in 92 sets over 27 matches. She reached double-figures in digs four times, and set a career-high of 11 digs at Lyon, Illinois-Springfield, and at Southern Arkansas. Coach Lauren hopes to pass on her knowledge and passion of the game to her players.
