Coach Kristen Evans is in her 1st season as a Memphis Metro Volleyball coach. Coach Kristen is currently working as an assistant for Metro’s 13 National team. Coach Kristen has helped coach younger players in many clinics hosted by Metro. Coach Kristen has also stepped in and helped Coach Yvonne and Coach Elisa during practices and tournaments when she had spare time.

Coach Kristen is very well known around the Metro gym. She comes from a long line of volleyball players. She played for Memphis Metro for four years, and among her coaches were Coach Jitka(for two years) and Coach In-sik from CBU. Kristen went on to earn a full ride scholarship to Trevecca Nazerene University in Nashville, earning a starting position her freshman year.

“I feel the next step in my volleyball career is to become a coach”. Kristen has much knowledge of the game and has a passion for young girls. Her energy and spirit is a great asset to the Metro family.
