Coach Juan Garcia is in his 2nd season as a Memphis Metro Volleyball coach. Coach Garcia is currently working with Metro’s 15 Regional team. Outside of Metro, Coach Garcia is the Head Coach for St. George’s JV Volleyball team, and an assistant for the Varsity program. While in Memphis, Coach Garcia spent time working at Germantown Parks and Recreation. While there, he ran a girls 4th -6th grade volleyball summer league, and a winter and spring adult volleyball league.

Coach Garcia played volleyball for four years in high school while back home in Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico Coach Garcia spent time playing, coaching, and refereeing. He was also the General Manager to a Division 1 Volleyball franchise for many years.

Coach Garcia is married with 3 children, Idris a senior at SG, Bianca a 7th grader at Bodine and Diego a 5th grader at Christ the King. He is also a High School Spanish Teacher for St. George’s Independent School.
