Coach Elisa Mendieta is in her 4th season as a Memphis Metro Volleyball coach. Coach Elisa is currently working with Metro’s 15 All-Star National team, and is Cap I and IMPACT certified. Coach Elisa has also had experience at Metro working with the 14, 15, and 16’s age categories. Outside of Metro, Coach Elisa worked the 2006 volleyball season with Hutchison School.

Coach Elisa grew up in Colorado were she also played 4 years of high school and club volleyball at the national level. She then went on to play volleyball in college where she had a very successful career at John Brown University.

Coach Elisa graduated from John Brown University in 2006 with a Degree in Exercise Science and Biology. Coach Elisa works for Elavon, a credit card processor, as an Account Manager. Coach Elisa moved to Memphis with her husband in 2006, where her daughter Isabella was born. In August of 2009 another beautiful addition to her family was born. With a second daughter Coach Elisa stays very busy, but also finds time to work with the youth at her church.
