Roxanna Wood is Metro's only 8th grade player to earn a spot on the Varsity level for her school's (St. George's) volleyball team. With her height, growing knowledge, and skill Roxanna has not only made the team, but has a significant impact on the court! Recently Roxanna was mentioned in the Commercial Appeal as an "eighth-grade changeup artist" for her play in the 5 game Win over Harding Academy! Roxanna is a member of Memphis Metro's 13 All-Star National team, who placed 5th in the Nation this summer at AAU Volleyball Nationals in Orlando, Fl.
