Intensity Faced with New Challenges
What a month Intensity has had! After such a good tournament in Nashville, Intensity returned home to Memphis to get ready for a one day tournament at the Metro facility. Since Intensity has had such a great season thus far, the 13 year old National team was placed in the 14’s age division for better competition. For the first match of the tournament, Intensity breezed past the Lady Blazers by beating them 25-12 and 25-10. Match two, against North County Aces, proved to be a bit more difficult with the teams splitting and each winning a game. Next on Intensity’s schedule were two teams from Metro. Intensity was challenged by the 14’s National team, but came out on top by winning 25-17 and 25-13. For the last game in pool play, Intensity rolled past the 14 Regional team with a score of 25-16 and 25-8. After pool play, Intensity was tied with North County Aces Black. Intensity off to Great Start
Warriors Step Up Game
What a tournament the 13 Elite team had on Saturday! The team played very well together and was more aggressive than ever! It was their best performance thus far! Serving was good! Serve receive was solid! Team spirit was great! The players had some fantastic digs, blocks, and kills. In pool play, we split with the 132 MJVA team that has beaten us all season.
